Project Highlight: 14x14 Traditional Vinyl Pavilion – Bourne Family, NC

"So installation would be available, even with me being way down in NC?"

That was the first question David Bourne asked when we began our conversation—and the answer was a confident yes.

From the very beginning, working with the Bourne family was a true pleasure. In February 2025, we kicked off the planning process with David to transform a blank backyard into a welcoming extension of their living space. With no existing patio or foundation in place, the project offered a unique opportunity to dream big and build from the ground up.

Our initial conversations were centered around ideas, options, and inspiration. We provided the Bournes with everything they needed to visualize their future pavilion: previous project photos, color samples, and detailed drawings that included post layouts and measurements. These planning tools helped lay the groundwork for a smooth and transparent process, giving David and his family confidence every step of the way.

One of the advantages of planning during the winter months is the added flexibility it gives in coordinating every detail. Together, we discussed the type of foundation needed and offered insights on working with a local hardscaping company. We were able to share suggestions, answer questions, and create a timeline that aligned both the foundation work and our structure installation.

Throughout the process, we stayed in constant communication—exchanging progress photos, checking in on key milestones, and coordinating logistics. That collaborative spirit is what helped everything come together seamlessly.

As for installation in North Carolina? Absolutely. Over the years, we’ve expanded our reach across the eastern United States, and we’re proud to call North Carolina a second home. With a trusted crew led by Caleb and Quillan, both long-time members of the Fisher’s team, we’re able to offer the same level of precision, care, and craftsmanship to our southern customers that we’re known for in the Northeast.

On installation day, our crew arrived bright and early at 7 a.m., ready to bring the Bournes’ vision to life. Within just a few short hours, a stunning 14x14 Traditional Vinyl Pavilion stood proudly in their backyard—an elegant, low-maintenance centerpiece designed for comfort, shade, and lasting memories.
